Wee! My vacation is starting tomorrow and I have no work for two whole weeks! Hurray! … what the fuck will I do ? I got no plans, nothing at all! Anyways, figured I’d just write that so I got it off my chest. I can also inform you that the past 3 weeks I’ve worked around 200 hours. >_> Should be a fun paycheck this month as well!

Tomorrow I finally get my first trip with my work. Well, my first trip outside Norway’s borders that is. I’m off to Copenhagen in Denmark for a vessel installation. Should be a new and fun experience. 
Oh, and if you don’t know what I’m working with, it’s computers. I’m a IT Consultant, or as it said on my traveling papers.. an IT Specialist. 
Haha, that last title sure has a nice ring to it. Was funny to read.
Ow well. The current plan as far as I’ve understood is that we’re leaving for Copenhagen tomorrow from Bergen 14:00PM. We’ll be in Copenhagen around 15:20ish. Then we’ll most likely get picked up by a agent and then onwards to the vessel to start the job. Thank god that we didn’t have a crazy deadline like 20hours… I don’t think it would be possible. We’re probably gonna stay on the vessel for two days, then we’ll be back in another harbour. From then on its probably back to Norway, but I don’t know yet. Hopefully it’ll be a nice experience and I’m sure it will be.
On the other side, I’m just glad I get away from the helpdesk for even a day. I’m tired of helpdesk work.. since it usually isn’t that much more to learn from it. But I suppose I can’t complain to much. I have a job, I got a stable income and I can more or less do what I want when it’s not calling in like crazy. I’ve had some fun support calls this week. Such as the norwegian coastguard and found out some new stuff about Microsoft’s antivirus solution, Forefront Client Security.
